Creating a hyperlink
To create a new hyperlink You can add a hyperlink
to your page that will either redirect the viewer to another page
from your site, a picture from your site or even an entirely
different website.
-
Move the cursor to the area you would like the link to appear,
and click the Hyperlink icon from the toolbar
.
A new popup window will appear showing hyperlink settings.
New hyperlink window:

-
Fill in the "Link Name", which is the word that will appear in
your sentence that is the hyperlink itself. Our example
below will add a link called "Click Here".
-
Fill in the "Link URL", which is the exact web address to the
page or graphic you would like the viewer to be redirected to
after clicking the hyperlink. Our example will point to a
secondary webpage built within our site called "page.htm".
Notice the path: "www.domain.com/mysite/page.htm where "mysite
is the name of your subweb, and "page.htm" is the name of the
webpage itself; ending in ".htm" of course.
-
The "Link Type" should stay at "http://" since it is for your
website.
-
"Link Target" is how the new page will appear. IE: you can
type in: "new window" in this line, and when they click your
link, a new popup browser will display the page. Or, you
can leave this line blank as it is, and it will show the page in
the same web browser. Our example would yield a popup
window with the page displayed.

-
When done filling out the information, click "Add Link", then
exit out of the dialog box. Sometimes the hyperlink you
create will wind up on a 2nd line from where your cursor was at,
but that's ok. You can use the backspace or delete button
to move the text where it should be. Using the
Cut-and-Paste method works best.
-
Hyperlink example:
our main page.
